Decentralised Capacity Building Seminar: “Challenges and Opportunities for Social Dialogue in the Twin Transition”, 16-17 June 2022, Istanbul
Background
In the previous joint project cycles the European social partners have dedicated two seminars to focus on social dialogue in candidate countries. This seminar with Turkish social partners will provide an important input to the discussions on social dialogue at European level about how to promote and support social dialogue across different contexts and policy areas.
The seminar will cover topics related to the EU and national level social dialogue such as:
- Capacity building needs for strong, representative and autonomous social partners organisations
- Membership development
- The role of social partners in policy making at all levels
- The results of the European social dialogue at different levels and their impact and implementation at national level with a focus on the new instruments negotiated
