Joint Social Partners Conference: "Strengthening Europe through Social Dialogue – European Social Dialogue Work Programme 2022-2024", 28th June 2022,Brussels

Context

Social dialogue at all levels is particularly relevant for fair, responsible and effective labour markets. Social partners are particularly well-placed to contribute to shape the process of the digital and green transitions and accompany the resilience and recovery from Covid-19. They play a key role to co-design with the European Commission and national governments balanced measures and solutions to create an enabling environment for enterprises and improved living and working conditions.

This conference will provide an opportunity for a reflection on how Europe can be strengthened through social dialogue, and what is needed to ensure a reinforced social dialogue at European and national levels.

The conference will also provide a platform for the European cross-industry social partners to officially launch their Seventh European Social Dialogue Work Programme 2022-2024 which includes their shared priorities to strengthen the contribution of autonomous social dialogue to Europe’s social dimension.
