The ETUC closely monitors the restructuring affecting undertakings in Europe and the economic and social consequences of this complex process. This section covers ETUC policy statements and documents issued on the topic of industrial restructuring. It also contains information on ETUC project results dealing with the topic of restructuring.
To learn more about restructuring operations and trends within different national, sectoral and regional frameworks and to exchange workers' and trade unions' experiences, during 2006 and 2007 the ETUC implemented a project which led, among other results, to the publication of a
toolkit summarising the main findings on restructuring trends and trade union experience in nine EU countries.
